We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Food Service Supervisor to join our team at GONG CHA. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen and dining areas.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish Work Schedules: Develop and implement efficient work schedules to meet the needs of our customers and staff.
- Requisition Food and Supplies: Order and manage the inventory of food and kitchen supplies to ensure we have the necessary resources to meet customer demand.
- Supervise and Train Staff: Lead and train a team of food service staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to provide excellent customer service and prepare high-quality food.
- Ensure Quality Control: Monitor and maintain the quality of our food and service to ensure it meets our high standards.
- Prepare Budgets and Reports: Develop and manage budgets and prepare reports to track our performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years, or equivalent experience.
- Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with exposure to odours and wet/damp conditions.
- Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain attention to detail.
- Personal Suitability: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, and team player.
- 1 year to less than 2 years: Experience in a food service environment, preferably in a supervisory role.
- Language: English.
- Hours of Work: 30 hours per week.
