Food Service Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Subway. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and Co-ordinate Activities: Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that food is prepared and served in a timely and efficient manner.
- Train Staff: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, ensuring that they are equipped to provide excellent customer service.
- Estimate Ingredients and Supplies: Estimate the ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring that we have sufficient stock to meet customer demand.
- Hire and Manage Staff: Hire and manage food service staff, ensuring that they are motivated and equipped to provide excellent customer service.
- Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, addressing any issues promptly and efficiently.
- Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns, ensuring that they receive a positive experience.
- Record Keeping: Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for business improvement.
- Reporting: Prepare and submit reports, providing management with valuable insights into restaurant operations.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Work Setting: Restaurant.
- Tasks: Establish methods to meet work schedules, supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff, train staff, estimate ingredients and supplies, hire food service staff, ensure quality control, address customer complaints, maintain records, and prepare reports.
- Supervision: 3-4 people.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, physically demanding, attention to detail.
- Personal Suitability: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, team player, initiative.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years.
- Language: English.
- Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
