Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist II to join our Primary Care team at Northern Health Authority. As an Occupational Therapist II, you will play a vital role in providing person-centered care to our patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to promote independence and participation in valued activities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and provide evidence-based interventions to address physical, cognitive, and emotional needs
  • Collaborate with interprofessional teams to ensure seamless care coordination and communication
  • Provide education and support to patients and families to promote self-management and empowerment
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and experience
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of British Columbia
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in primary care or a related setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
