Leisure Programs Facilitator I

In alignment with the organization's mission and values, and as a vital member of a multidisciplinary team focused on client and family-centered care, the Program Coordinator (PC I) is responsible for the planning, development, implementation, and assessment of recreational and leisure programs aimed at promoting the health and well-being of residents and clients in various settings, including residential and adult day programs.
The PC I may oversee a team of up to four Activity Worker II staff and guide designated volunteers. Under the clinical supervision of a Recreation Therapist or other qualified professional (such as OT or RN), the PC I executes therapeutic elements of a resident's care plan as assigned and assists in monitoring the progress of patients and residents.
Required Qualifications:A valid Class IV Unrestricted BCDL is necessary (or the willingness to obtain one within the first six months of employment). Please submit your resume detailing the qualifications required.
Work Schedule:Monday to Friday, with shifts including Days and Evenings - 08:00 to 16:00, 12:00 to 20:00, 08:30 to 16:30, 12:30 to 20:30.
About Our Facility:Our facility features a spacious and inviting environment with ample open areas and outdoor access. It includes designated floors for Assisted Living Residents, Complex Care, Respite, and Convalescent residents. With 119 long-term care beds and 50 assisted living beds, all rooms are single occupancy with private bathrooms. We provide daily Recreational Therapy Services, offering therapeutic programs on each wing and in larger group settings.
