Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cable Installation Assistant to join our team at Centurion Alarm & Lock NB Inc. As a key member of our installation and maintenance team, you will assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of telecommunications equipment and systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the installation of telecommunications equipment and systems, including cables, antennas, and other related components.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on existing installations, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Help tradespersons, apprentices, and other workers as directed, providing support and assistance as needed.
  • Move tools, equipment, and other materials as required, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.
Work Environment

As a Cable Installation Assistant, you will work in a variety of settings, including outdoors, at heights, and in confined spaces. You will be exposed to physical demands, including manual dexterity, handling heavy loads, and working in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking positions.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Security Clearance

As a Cable Installation Assistant, you will be required to undergo a criminal record check and a driver's abstract check. You must also be bondable and have a basic security clearance.
