About the Role

This is a senior-level position that requires a high degree of expertise in mergers and acquisitions, particularly in the oil and gas sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the company's M&A efforts, identifying and evaluating potential targets, and executing transactions that align with the company's strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough due diligence on potential targets, including financial, operational, and commercial assessments.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive M&A strategy that aligns with the company's business objectives.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, partners, and industry experts.
  • Manage the transaction process from initial screening to closing, including negotiation, due diligence, and integration.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, legal, and operations, to ensure seamless execution of M&A transactions.
Requirements
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in M&A, with a strong track record of success in the oil and gas sector.
  • Proven expertise in financial analysis, valuation, and modeling, with a deep understanding of the energy industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
