You will also identify core skills within the therapeutic stages to support the delivery of high-quality clinical service.

Responsibilities:

* Provide direct supervision to provisional psychologists to assist them in gaining supervised hours with the College of Alberta Psychologists (CAP)
* Support the development of supervision plans, oversee the therapists' development and implementation of mental health assessment and therapeutic treatment plans, and complete the appropriate documentation to support the supervisees' registration with CAP
* Identify core skills within the therapeutic stages to support the delivery of high-quality clinical service
* Assess and problem-solve factors that may impact the clinical supervision relationship
* Ensure a holistic and high-quality model of assessment and treatment planning that is family-centred, trauma-informed and inclusive of biological, psychological, social and cultural factors for patients and their families

Requirements:

* Graduate degree with a major in psychology
* Member in good standing with the College of Alberta Psychologists
* Status as an approved supervisor in good standing is required
* Five or more years of experience delivering child and/or adolescent mental health service is required
* Knowledge and experience supporting the healing of children and youth who have experienced trauma
* Knowledge and experience in therapeutic modalities for treating children and youth
* Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle is required
