Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team at Trans-Logic Truck Lines Ltd. As a key member of our transportation team, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials across the country.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to safety regulations.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Oversee the condition of the vehicle, inspecting tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Logistics: Arrange travel, related itineraries, and make reservations as needed to ensure efficient transportation.
  • Documentation: Obtain special permits and other documents required to transport cargo on international routes, and maintain accurate records of cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Safety: Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections, and oversee all aspects of vehicle safety to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements
  • Certifications: Possess an Air Brakes Endorsement and a valid Driver's License (Class 1 or A).
  • Physical Demands: Be able to sit for extended periods and perform physical tasks as required.
  • Personal Qualities: Demonstrate flexibility, reliability, and a strong work ethic.
Work Environment

As a Long Haul Truck Driver with Trans-Logic Truck Lines Ltd., you will work in a fast-paced transportation environment, interacting with various stakeholders, including dispatchers, customers, and other drivers. You will be required to work 40 hours per week, with opportunities for overtime as needed.
