Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Truck Driver-Supervisor to join our team at Trans-Logic Truck Lines Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our truck drivers and ensuring the smooth operation of our transportation services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate the activities of truck drivers, including route planning, scheduling, and dispatching.
  • Monitor and Control the movement of goods and materials, ensuring timely delivery and efficient use of resources.
  • Manage and Maintain the condition and maintenance of company vehicles, including regular inspections and repairs.
  • Train and Develop truck drivers to improve their skills and knowledge, ensuring they are equipped to handle a variety of tasks and situations.
  • Ensure Compliance with all relevant regulations and laws, including health and safety standards and transportation regulations.
  • Coordinate Repairs and Rentals of company vehicles, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal use of resources.
  • Requisition and Order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed, ensuring timely delivery and efficient use of resources.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience an asset, with a minimum of [insert time] years of experience in a supervisory role.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Environment: Willing to relocate and work in a fast-paced environment.
