Job Title: Long Haul Truck Driver

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team at Trans-Logic Truck Lines Ltd.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across the country, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Transportation: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, adhering to all relevant regulations and safety protocols.
  • Logistics: Arrange travel, related itineraries, and make reservations to ensure efficient transportation.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Oversee the condition of the vehicle, inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment, performing necessary repairs and maintenance.
  • Documentation: Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption, as well as obtain special permits and other documents required for international routes.
  • Safety and Security: Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections, ensuring the vehicle is in good working condition, and adhere to all safety and security protocols.
Requirements:
  • Certifications: Air Brakes Endorsement and Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
  • Physical Demands: Ability to sit for extended periods and perform physical tasks as required
  • Personal Qualities: Flexibility, reliability, and strong communication skills
