Job Title: Chiropractic Office Assistant

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Chiropractic Office Assistant to join our team at Dr. Jamie Devassy Chiropractic Professional Corporation.

Job Summary:

The Chiropractic Office Assistant will provide administrative support to our chiropractors and healthcare team, ensuring the smooth operation of our clinic. This role involves a variety of tasks, including scheduling appointments, processing claims, maintaining patient records, and assisting with physical examinations.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist chiropractors with patient health education and physical examinations
  • Process claims, including health insurance and workers' compensation
  • Maintain patient records and ensure accurate and timely filing
  • Schedule and confirm appointments, as well as manage routine office functions
  • Order supplies and equipment, and maintain a clean and organized workspace
  • Perform general clerical duties, including data entry and filing
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting
  • Permanent employment
  • English language proficiency
  • Ability to work 30-44 hours per week
Work Setting:

This role is based in an urban area, in an office setting with a healthcare professional.

Education:

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
