We are a dynamic specialized pharmacy in Oakville, Ontario, seeking a highly skilled Logistics Coordinator to join our team. As a Logistics Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth delivery of our parcel shipments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with external stakeholders to resolve time-sensitive delivery issues and ensure parcels are delivered to the intended destination.
  • Verify shipments are sent to the correct location and as per the expected delivery schedule.
  • Work with external stakeholders, including route drivers and account managers, to optimize our delivery process.
  • Utilize vendor software to create waybills for specific locations and pack pharmaceutical products as per seasonal protocols.
  • Assist with dispensing activities, such as filling and labeling medication.
  • Participate in inventory activities, including receiving orders and counting inventory weekly.

Requirements

  • High school diploma (or equivalent).
  • Minimum of 1 year's experience in a similar role, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Minimum 40 words per minute typing speed.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Comfortable working with computers and learning various vendor software.
  • Proven customer service skills.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills.
  • High attention to detail within a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to problem-solve, think critically, and make decisions.
  • Capable of lifting up to 30 lbs repeatedly.
