Logistics Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our team at Willard Meats International Ltd.
Job Summary:The Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating the movement of goods, materials, and supplies within our organization. This includes planning and organizing operational logistics, coordinating activities with other work units or departments, and performing routine clerical duties.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop specific plans to prioritize tasks and ensure efficient use of resources.
- Organize tasks to accomplish the work, including coordinating activities with warehouse and production units.
- Plan and organize operational logistics of the organization, including knowledge of cross-border dispatching regulations and practices.
- Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments, including negotiating offers from suppliers.
- Perform routine clerical duties, including compiling worksheets and specifications of orders.
- Provide customer service, including keeping track of shipments and knowledge of highway trucking and associated rules and regulations.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in logistics or a related field.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Knowledge of MS Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
