Job Title: Logistics Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our team at Willard Meats International Ltd.

Job Summary:

The Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating the movement of goods, supplies, and equipment within the organization. This includes planning and organizing operational logistics, coordinating activities with other work units or departments, and performing routine clerical duties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop specific plans to prioritize tasks and optimize logistics operations
  • Organize tasks to accomplish work efficiently and effectively
  • Plan and organize operational logistics of the organization, including cross-border dispatching and highway trucking
  • Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments, including warehouse and production units
  • Perform routine clerical duties, including compiling worksheets and specifications of orders
  • Provide customer service and maintain accurate records of shipments
  • Negotiate offers from suppliers and maintain knowledge of cross-border dispatching regulations and practices
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • 1-2 years of experience in logistics or a related field
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Knowledge of MS Office and electronic mail
