Job Title: Logistics Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our team at Willard Meats International Ltd.

Job Summary:

The Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating the movement of goods, materials, and supplies within our organization. This includes planning, organizing, and controlling the flow of goods, as well as ensuring timely and efficient delivery of products to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement logistics plans to prioritize tasks and ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Coordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure seamless execution of logistics operations.
  • Plan and organize operational logistics, including inventory management, shipping, and receiving.
  • Perform routine clerical duties, such as data entry and record-keeping.
  • Provide customer service by responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Keep track of shipments and ensure timely delivery of products.
  • Negotiate offers from suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and quality of goods.
  • Knowledge of cross-border dispatching regulations and practices to ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
  • Knowledge of highway trucking and associated rules and regulations to ensure safe and efficient transportation of goods.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as logistics, supply chain management, or business administration.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a logistics or supply chain role.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills to effectively coordinate with team members and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Knowledge of MS Office and other software applications relevant to logistics and supply chain management.
