Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at North Star Pho Inc. As a key member of our restaurant staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen and dining areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food and Supply Management
    • Procure and manage food and kitchen supplies to maintain high-quality standards.
    • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation.
  • Staff Training and Development
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
  • Quality Control and Customer Service
    • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
    • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional manner.
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Prepare and submit reports on sales, inventory, and other relevant metrics.
    • Order supplies and maintain inventory levels.
  • Health and Safety
    • Inspect the kitchen and dining areas to ensure safe working conditions.
    • Ensure adherence to safety regulations and protocols.
  • Financial Management
    • Balance cash and record sales transactions.
  • Team Leadership
    • Supervise a team of 5-10 staff members.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Standing for extended periods.
