Tools Support Specialist at 2K

2K is on the lookout for a detail-oriented and proactive Tools Support Specialist to become a vital member of our development team. Acting as the primary contact for all internal tooling at 2K, you will play a crucial role in assisting our programming teams under the guidance of our Lead Tools Programmer.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist programmers in troubleshooting and resolving issues
  • Support the implementation of basic automated acceptance and validation tests
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive test documentation
  • Collaborate and coordinate with colleagues across various locations
  • Establish and communicate data validation protocols
  • Maintain and enhance effective and reliable tools
  • Perform additional assigned duties as required

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • Fundamental understanding of a scripting language, such as Python
  • Experience in creating structure and rigor in processes
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Advanced computer skills and debugging capabilities
  • Excellent organizational and communication abilities
  • Self-driven, inquisitive, and collaborative mindset

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with Unreal Engine
