About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager, Partnerships and Business Development to join our team at SIRC. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic organization and contribute to the growth and success of our partnerships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partnership Management
    • Manage multiple existing partner accounts, including the execution of contractual obligations and fulfillment.
    • Develop and execute sponsor service plans, including the timely and accurate fulfillment of all contractual obligations.
    • Research, develop, and implement sponsor activation concepts for various events and properties.
    • Provide premium support materials and post-event analysis to demonstrate key metrics, results, and ROI for partners.
  • New Business Development
    • Align with senior leadership to target prospects and grow existing business.
    • Participate in program ideation, development, presentation, and follow-up on integrated strategic partnership proposals.
  • Administrative Support
    • Generate internal status reports and lead meetings with key stakeholders to ensure clear communication.
    • Manage the completeness and accuracy of sponsor benefit grids, contact lists, budgets, and CRM.
  • Other Duties
    • Support special assignments, including partner recognition, attending industry seminars, and networking events.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Sports Management, Business, or equivalent.
  • 3-5 years of experience in partnership/sponsorship/account management.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop successful sponsorship marketing concepts and programs.
  • Experience in building integrated sponsorship proposals from beginning to fruition.
  • Ability to establish and maintain professional relationships internally and externally.
  • Ability to work as a team member and contribute to a collaborative environment.
  • Strong time-management skills, including the ability to multi-task and stay organized.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Working knowledge of key sponsorship marketing concepts and protocols.
  • Proficiency with marketing software is an asset.
  • Knowledge of commercial functions is an asset.
  • Experience working in the sports and entertainment industry is considered an asset.
  • Golf knowledge is considered an asset.
  • Bilingual (English and French) is considered an asset.
