Healthcare Administrative Assistant

Key Responsibilities:
Essential Qualifications:
- Proficiency in computer systems, particularly Cerner applications, for efficient order entry and management.
- Recent experience as a ward clerk, demonstrating expertise in transcription, order processing, and follow-up, with a strong track record of competencies.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Word, with the ability to meet performance standards.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, with the ability to apply it accurately in a clinical setting.
- Typing speed of 30 words per minute, with the ability to meet performance standards.
- Experience with payroll entry in Medipay, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills, with the ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment.
- Superb interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and patients.
- Ability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends, with flexibility and a commitment to meeting business needs.
- Self-directed work style, with minimal supervision, and a strong commitment to meeting performance standards.
- Recent satisfactory performance and attendance record, with a strong commitment to maintaining a positive work environment.
