Position Overview

The Human Resources Administrator plays a vital role in supporting the HR functions within Pelican Events & Catering. This position is responsible for a variety of administrative tasks that ensure the smooth operation of human resources activities.

Educational Requirements
  • Completion of post-secondary education in a relevant field such as Human Resources or Business Administration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Organize and facilitate seminars, workshops, and conferences.
  • Document and prepare minutes for meetings and events.
  • Develop and execute effective recruitment strategies.
  • Oversee training and development initiatives.
  • Gather and analyze data, statistics, and relevant information.
  • Address employee inquiries and resolve complaints.
  • Manage office supply orders and maintain inventory levels.
  • Administer payroll processes.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements and itineraries.
  • Conduct data entry tasks as required.
Technical Proficiencies
  • Proficient in MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, and HR software.
  • Familiarity with MS Office suite.
