About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Solution Architect to join our Product Development, Approval and License Maintenance Domain. As a key member of our team, you will design and implement innovative IT solutions for our stakeholders, ensuring seamless data aggregation, management, and automation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design solutions that meet enterprise standards and requirements
  • Conduct architecture reviews to ensure continuous improvement and optimization
  • Research and evaluate new technologies to adopt and implement
  • Design non-functional requirements and implementation reviews to identify gaps
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation
  • Drive the identification of the most appropriate solution for Roche through formal RFI/RFP/RFQ processes
  • Evaluate the feasibility of potential solutions with business users and Subject Matter Experts
  • Seek opportunities to create additional value and improve business processes
  • Architect, build, maintain, and operate enterprise-grade systems and applications

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical discipline with 5-12 years of professional IT experience in a major, global organization
  • At least 3 years of experience in at least two IT disciplines in a client/server or service-oriented architecture
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical industry is an asset
  • Experience in a product development domain is beneficial
  • Knowledge about Snowflake/data concepts/data products is an asset
  • Experience with SAFe or any other lean-agile framework is an asset
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Teamwork and fast integration into bigger teams
  • Experience in working in a multicultural and international environment
  • Advanced English skills
