This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to join 1200 Merge Healthcare Solutions Inc. (US) as a Solution Architect, working on the crucial mission of improving health outcomes.
As a key member of our Professional Services team, you will be responsible for technical and design workflow ownership across Watson Health Imaging (WHI) solutions. You will work closely with Resource and Project managers to assign, schedule, and execute project implementations.
Key Responsibilities- Manage department objectives, plans, and projects to meet team and company goals, ensuring customer satisfaction, revenue growth, and customer retention.
- Handle the technical side of Project Charter reviews.
- Own the technical component of Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) for projects.
- Assist Project Managers with deliverable schedules, task sequences, and milestones.
- Work closely with Resource and Project Managers on assigned tasks, including assignment, scheduling, execution, and monitoring of WHI product implementations.
- Own the Change Control process for technical issues.
- Provide technical mentorship to Professional Services staff, including Solution Consultants, Implementation & Custom Engineers, and Project Managers.
- Represent Professional Services in Program Management discussions.
- Act as a point of contact for Sales with technical concerns.
- Assist in developing successful solution testing processes.
- Creation of solution test plans with Subject Matter Experts.
- Standardize Best Practices around workflow and third-party integrations.
- Assist with and own signoff on Pre Go-Live checklists for all solutions.
- Pursue a program of self-development through selected reading, seminars, and continuing education.
- Identify and communicate possible improvements in the work process for customers and peers.
- Perform other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor or upper management.

Preferred Knowledge & Experience- SME on one or more core WHI solutions.
- Five (5) years of Healthcare IT experience.
- Strong background in Microsoft, DICOM, HL-7, and health science informatics.
- Strong background with Visio and Sharepoint.
- Ability to mentor and lead a specialized technical team.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A valid driver's license and safe driving record is required.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience is required.
- Office or Remote Home-Based Work Environment.
- Travel: 25%.
