- Effectively manage deadlines and handle any emergencies that may arise outside of business hours to ensure swift resolution and minimal disruption to operations
- Undergraduate degree or diploma in a relevant field, such as chemistry, science, or business
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a sales role selling in the industrial chemicals market, with a focus on major chemical production, environmental, water treatment, construction, and/or agriculture
- Expertise in driving new sales, prospecting, qualifying customer needs and expectations
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain business relationships with prospective customers to generate new business
- Proven ability in achieving sales targets and KPIs
- Possess a high degree of organization, planning, and multi-tasking skills
- Be comfortable and at ease working in a complex and rapidly changing environment
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
- Ability to travel (about 40% of working time) with overnight travels
- Proven computer skills and ability to learn and use digital tools
