Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Marine Service Technician to join our team at Ocean West Marine Group Inc. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and safety of our watercraft fleet.

Key Responsibilities
  • Electrical and Mechanical Systems: Adjust, repair, or replace electrical system parts and mechanical system parts to ensure proper functioning.
  • Diagnostic and Troubleshooting: Diagnose and isolate faults on engines to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Documentation and Communication: Document your inspection and tests made on engines, estimate repair costs, and review work orders to ensure accuracy and transparency.
  • Customer Service: Advise customers on work performed and the condition of equipment, providing exceptional customer service and support.
  • Team Collaboration: Instruct apprentices, perform scheduled maintenance and service, and work collaboratively with the team to achieve common goals.
Requirements
  • Education: Other trades certificate or diploma.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Skills: Attention to detail, physically demanding work, combination of sitting, standing, and walking, and ability to work under pressure.
Work Environment

Our work environment is fast-paced and physically demanding, with a combination of indoor and outdoor tasks. You will be working with a variety of equipment and machinery, including gauges, industrial lift trucks, power tools, and precision measuring instruments.
