Job Title: Marine Service Technician

We are seeking a skilled Marine Service Technician to join our team at Ocean West Marine Group Inc.

Job Summary:

The Marine Service Technician will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on marine equipment, including engines, electrical systems, and mechanical systems. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of marine systems and be able to diagnose and repair complex issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on marine equipment, including engines, electrical systems, and mechanical systems.
  • Diagnose and repair complex issues with marine equipment.
  • Work with supervisors to prioritize tasks and manage workload.
  • Document all work performed and maintain accurate records.
  • Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with customers.
  • Collaborate with other technicians to complete tasks and achieve team goals.
Requirements:
  • Post-secondary education in a related field, such as marine technology or a related trade.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a marine maintenance or repair role.
  • Strong understanding of marine systems, including engines, electrical systems, and mechanical systems.
  • Ability to diagnose and repair complex issues with marine equipment.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Work Environment:

The Marine Service Technician will work in a fast-paced marine environment, with frequent exposure to noise, dust, and other hazards. The successful candidate will be able to work effectively in a variety of settings, including outdoors and in confined spaces.
