Job Title: Weekend Sr. Lead Hand

ServiceMaster Clean of Chatham, Windsor & Sarnia is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Weekend Sr. Lead Hand to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing cleaning operations and staff assigned to commercial client sites.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and supervise cleaning operations to ensure high-quality standards are met.
  • Train and develop new staff members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Utilize CleanTelligent to record unusual activity and manage work projects.
  • Monitor and manage the performance of crews and staff, providing feedback and coaching to improve productivity and efficiency.
  • Ensure adherence to ServiceMaster's standards and policies, including timely attendance, dress code, and personal appearance.
  • Manage inventory of supplies and equipment, ensuring they are properly maintained and restocked as needed.
  • Assign and supervise staff to ensure established standards are met for internal and external building security and lighting requirements.
  • Adjust schedules and shift times as necessary to accommodate changes in traffic patterns, weather conditions, or personal emergencies.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a supervisory role, preferably in commercial cleaning.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in cleaning services.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and adapt to changing situations.
  • High school diploma and post-secondary education or equivalent combination of education and experience.
