Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide HR generalist support for Canada Goose teams in various areas, including employee relations, labour relations, health and safety, compensation, recruitment, orientation, and performance management.
  • Assist the HR Business Partner with health and safety programs to ensure a safe and secure work environment.
  • Prepare internal HR-related documents, including employment, promotion, and transfer letters, termination forms.
  • Handle and manage CNESST claims, facilitate leave of absence, and safe return to work programs.
  • Assist with safety and health programs that support the well-being of employees in the facility through industry best practices and knowledge of legislative requirements.
  • Ensure HRIS data is up to date and accurate.
  • Support/lead and implement various HR projects and initiatives.

Requirements:

  • A post-secondary education in Human Resources or industrial relations.
  • ~2+ years of human resources experience.
  • ~ Health & Safety training, including Joint Health & Safety Committee education/experience.
  • ~ Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development within the HR profession.
  • ~ Well-versed in many HR functional competencies and best practices.
  • ~ Excellent grammar, business letter, and report writing skills.
  • ~ Excellent technical ability (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, HRIS).
  • ~ Fluent in French and English.
