Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor to oversee our facility maintenance operations. This role is crucial in fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and productivity within our teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote an inclusive and innovative work environment.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients through effective communication.
  • Ensure accountability for all accounts, focusing on quality standards and performance metrics.
  • Conduct regular client updates and maintain transparency in operations.
  • Oversee the hiring, training, and performance management of staff across multiple sites.
  • Monitor and assess all building locations for operational changes and developments.
  • Manage payroll processes, including staff transfers and terminations.
  • Control labor hours and budget allocations for all accounts.
  • Coordinate additional project work as needed at various locations.
  • Maintain accurate logs and inspections to document service delivery.
  • Identify opportunities for additional services or enhancements.
  • Build and sustain ongoing relationships with property management and tenants.
  • Conduct quality assurance inspections and generate monthly performance reports.
  • Ensure compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
  • Adhere to the Employment Standards Act requirements.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in the janitorial or cleaning industry, with a focus on operations and labor relations.
  • Proven ability to manage budgets for key accounts, including labor and supplies.
  • Experience in recruiting, training, and developing staff, with effective resource allocation skills.
  • Fluency in English, both written and verbal; additional languages are a plus.
  • Proficient in MS Office and familiar with janitorial equipment.
  • Willingness to travel and conduct site visits, with a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
