Role Overview:

The Operations Manager will oversee daily activities and support functions in service, production, manufacturing, and maintenance to achieve business objectives while ensuring safety and environmental compliance.

This role includes supervising production staff and monitoring operational performance to meet established quality, productivity, and cost targets while adhering to safety protocols and compliance initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and guidance for daily operations, ensuring the team meets the demands of both internal and external clients.
  • Coordinate production efforts to fulfill daily customer requirements efficiently.
  • Lead initiatives focused on reliability, compliance, quality, and safety.
  • Ensure that all team members are well-trained and committed to Linde's safety and operational standards.
  • Monitor production and workforce levels to maintain efficiency and reliability.
  • Identify challenges and spearhead improvement strategies in production processes, scheduling, and training.
  • Manage equipment and system-related issues effectively.
  • Maintain sufficient inventory of production materials and essential components.
  • Address routine personnel matters, including training, coaching, and mentoring team members.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree or College Diploma in a relevant field is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in an industrial plant environment is required.
  • At least 3 years of experience in managing and developing teams is necessary.
  • Experience in maintenance and familiarity with electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems is preferred.
  • Previous experience in a plant or industrial gas setting is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in English is required.
