Position Overview:

We are seeking an Operations Supervisor to oversee our facility maintenance operations. This role is crucial in fostering a collaborative and productive work environment while ensuring the highest quality of service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote a workplace culture that values diversity, innovation, and teamwork.
  • Establish and maintain effective communication with clients and team members.
  • Take full responsibility for account management, ensuring quality standards are met and maintained.
  • Regularly update clients on account status and service delivery.
  • Recruit, train, and manage staff across various locations.
  • Monitor site activities and implement necessary changes as required.
  • Handle payroll and personnel matters for all accounts.
  • Manage labor budgets and ensure efficient resource allocation.
  • Organize additional project work as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed through logs and inspections.
  • Identify opportunities for additional services and enhancements.
  • Conduct quality assurance inspections and generate monthly performance reports.
  • Ensure compliance with Occupational Health and Safety regulations.
  • Adhere to Employment Standards requirements.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in the janitorial or cleaning sector, with a focus on operations management.
  • Proven ability to manage budgets effectively, including labor and supply costs.
  • Experience in recruiting, training, and developing staff to meet operational needs.
  • Fluency in English is essential; additional languages are a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with janitorial equipment.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
