As a Livestock Facility Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the operations of our barn and yard site. This position is essential for maintaining the health and productivity of our livestock.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the management of the barn and surrounding areas
  • Supervise staff, assign tasks, and implement training programs
  • Manage feed orders and execute feeding schedules
  • Select, sort, and prepare pigs for transportation
  • Prepare facilities for cleaning and animal entry
  • Receive and care for incoming livestock
  • Conduct minor maintenance as needed
  • Perform general farm operations
  • Identify and address livestock health concerns
  • Maintain accurate livestock performance records
  • Implement feeding and vaccination protocols
  • Undertake additional duties as required

Qualifications:

  • Valid Class 5 Driver's License
  • Self-driven and motivated
  • Highly organized and dependable
  • Strong communication abilities
  • Excellent work ethic
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with others
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in swine management is advantageous
