About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and accomplished Actuarial Partner to join our team at LifeWorks. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving business growth, managing client relationships, and providing strategic actuarial expertise.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Business Development: Drive business growth for Retirement Consulting by identifying new business opportunities with existing and new clients.
  • Strategic Consulting: Provide strategic consulting services to clients, helping them design and manage retirement plans, assess plan funding and risk, develop investment strategies, and navigate regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Team Leadership: Lead team engagement by providing mentorship, guidance, and technical expertise to team members, fostering their professional development.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in pension plan consulting.
  • Professional actuarial designation such as FCIA, ASA, or FSA.
  • Strong client relationship management skills, up to C-suite level.
  • Solid understanding of actuarial principles, financial markets, and industry developments and emerging trends.
  • Ability to identify new business opportunities, drive revenue growth, and meet budget and profitability targets.
  • Proven leadership and mentorship skills, ensuring high-quality deliverables while fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
