About the Role

This part-time position is perfect for someone who wants to make a positive impact on the lives of children and families in our community. As a School Age Early Childhood Educator, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and education to children aged 5-12 in our Before & After School Programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and support to children, including toileting, first aid, and medication administration
  • Plan and implement play-based learning activities that promote social, emotional, and cognitive development
  • Ensure the safety and supervision of children at all times
  • Communicate effectively with families, staff, and volunteers to ensure a positive and inclusive environment
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement program plans that meet the needs of all children
Requirements
  • Minimum 18 years of age
  • Current Standard First Aid and CPR (Level C) certification
  • Vulnerable Sector Check
  • Up-to-date immunizations
  • Availability to work Monday to Friday, split-shifts
  • Passion for working with children and providing quality care and education
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
