Job Summary

CB Canada is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Operations Supervisor to join our team at Shorelines Casino Belleville. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for assisting with the planning and directing of site operations, as well as providing leadership and guidance to designated departments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the creation of an engaged work environment by promoting positivity and fun, recognizing excellent performance, and supporting team members.
  • Oversee the Cage, Slots, and Guest Services department, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Provide leadership, direction, mentoring, and performance management to team members, while promoting continuous coaching for success.
  • Assist in the implementation of departmental strategic plans and monitor team member productivity, work skills, and behaviors.
  • Develop and cultivate strong working relationships with stakeholders, including guests, management, team members, and regulators.
  • Liaise and communicate effectively with operational departments and ensure compliance with policy and procedure, legislation, health and safety, and other statutory regulations.
  • Anticipate operational and service issues, trouble-shoot, and resolve guest concerns before they become complaints.
  • Administer the Collective Agreement and grievance discussions, as required.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in gaming/casino management.
  • Experience working in various departments within gaming an asset.
  • Post-Secondary education in Business or Operations Management or suitable combination of education and experience.
  • Proven leadership skills and the ability to train and develop team members.
  • Ability to exceed internal and external guest expectations through timely, effective, and service-oriented communication.
  • A willingness to learn, develop, and achieve new skills for personal and professional development.
  • Computer proficiency in MS Office.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain registration as a Category 1 Gaming Assistant with AGCO.
  • Ability to obtain Smart Serve.
