Cage Cashier – Part Time

At Great Canadian Gaming Corporation, we are committed to creating a great, memorable experience for our guests and colleagues.

About the Role:

  • Provide outstanding customer service to exceed guest expectations
  • Contribute to a safe and welcoming work environment for all employees
  • Handle cash transactions, including foreign currency exchange, traveler's cheques, short pays, over payments, cash counts, coins, and bills
  • Monitor and report all discrepancies and suspicious cash activities
  • Redeem value chips and gaming tickets for cash
  • Verify and process machine fills, machine jackpots, cancelled credits, as well as table fills and credits
  • Issue opening floats to Slot Attendants (or others); reconcile closing floats
  • Transfer and store floats, keys, and record-keeping documents
  • Document and reconcile transactions; may reconcile bank deposits and prepare revenue reports
  • Communicate effectively with all appropriate operational departments
  • Build strong working relationships with guests and employees
  • Comply with licensing laws, health and safety, and other statutory regulations

Requirements:

  • People-focused and committed to service excellence
  • Proactive and solution-oriented with a drive to succeed
  • Secondary School Diploma; Post-secondary education an asset
  • Smart Serve certification required or willing to obtain
  • Ability to exceed internal and external customer expectations through timely, effective, and service-oriented communication
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in high-volume cash handling
