About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Greenhouse Labourer to join our team at 4 Brothers Farm and Cannery. As a key member of our agricultural team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the success of our greenhouse operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Crop Care and Maintenance
    • Assist in the cleaning and maintenance of greenhouse crops to ensure optimal growth and health.
    • Monitor and control the application of fertilizers and other crop care products.
  • Seed and Plant Management
    • Assist in the planting and harvesting of seeds and seedlings.
    • Help to maintain and manage the growth of vines, vine canopy, and grapes.
  • General Farmhand Duties
    • Assist in the mixing and preparation of soils.
    • Help to maintain a clean and organized work area.
    • Perform other duties as required to support the smooth operation of the greenhouse.
    Requirements
    • Education and Experience
      • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required, but experience in a related field is an asset.
    • Language and Communication
      • Fluency in English is required.
    • Work Environment and Hours
      • Work will be performed in a greenhouse environment.
      • Hours of work will be approximately 35 to 40 hours per week.
