About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Greenhouse Labourer to join our team at 4 Brothers Farm and Cannery. As a key member of our agricultural team, you will be responsible for maintaining the health and productivity of our greenhouse crops.

Key Responsibilities
  • Crop Maintenance: Clean and inspect crops regularly to ensure optimal growth and quality.
  • Seed and Plant Management: Cut and prepare seeds according to farm standards, and plant bulbs and seeds as needed.
  • Fertilization and Irrigation: Mix and apply fertilizers, and water and tend to plants, lawns, and gardens.
  • Soil Preparation: Mix and prepare soils to ensure optimal growing conditions.
  • Task Management: Clean the work area, and perform other tasks as assigned by management.
  • Language and Communication: Communicate effectively with colleagues and management in English.
  • Work Schedule: Work 35 to 40 hours per week, with a permanent work term.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Experience an asset, but not required.
