About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Greenhouse Labourer to join our team at 1455467 B.C. Ltd. As a key member of our greenhouse operations, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and productivity of our crops.

Key Responsibilities
  • Crop Care: Clean the crops, cut agricultural seed according to farm standards, and perform greenhouse cleaning tasks.
  • Harvesting and Preparation: Hand harvest vegetables, mix and prepare soils, and assist in grafting activities.
  • Plant Maintenance: Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens, and report signs of insect or disease damage.
  • Work Area Maintenance: Clean work area and maintain a safe and organized workspace.
  • Reporting and Communication: Write daily basic progress reports and communicate effectively with the team.
Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required, but a willingness to learn and train is essential.
  • Ability to work 40 hours per week in a fast-paced greenhouse environment.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects, and work at heights.
Language and Work Environment

This is a permanent position, and the primary language spoken in the workplace is English.
