About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Investment Research Manager to join our team at HUB International Ontario Limited. As a key member of our investment consulting team, you will be responsible for leading our manager research initiatives and providing expert analysis to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive research philosophy that aligns with our firm's values and goals.
  • Conduct in-depth research on investment managers, including qualitative and quantitative analysis, to provide high-quality recommendations to our clients.
  • Train and mentor junior research analysts to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to conduct effective research.
  • Manage the research team, including setting priorities and allocating resources to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Collaborate with other teams, including sales and client service, to ensure seamless delivery of our services.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, and apply this knowledge to improve our research processes and recommendations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or Accounting, or equivalent experience.
  • Completion of the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) program or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in investment research or a related field.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality research and analysis.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
