Plasterer Specialist

Mafra Drywall & Plastering Inc. is seeking a skilled Plasterer to join our team. As a Plasterer, you will be responsible for applying, levelling and smoothing coats of plaster to create a smooth and even surface.
Key Responsibilities- Apply, level and smooth coats of plaster to walls and ceilings
- Clean and prepare surfaces for plastering
- Cure freshly plastered surfaces to ensure a strong bond
- Finish corners and angles, and create decorative designs in the finish coat as required
- Mix plaster ingredients to the desired consistency
- Mould and install ornamental plaster panels, cornices and trim
- Spray acoustic or texture materials over walls and ceilings
- Trowel or spray coats of stucco over exteriors of buildings to form weatherproof surfaces
- 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in the trade
- Permanent employment
- English as the primary language of work
- 30 to 44 hours of work per week
