About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Plasterer to join our team at Mafra Drywall & Plastering Inc. As a Plasterer, you will be responsible for applying, levelling and smoothing coats of plaster to create a smooth and even surface.

Key Responsibilities
  • Mix plaster ingredients to the desired consistency and apply them to walls and ceilings using a trowel or spray gun.
  • Clean and prepare surfaces before applying plaster, ensuring they are free from dust, dirt and other debris.
  • Cure freshly plastered surfaces to prevent cracking and ensure a strong bond.
  • Finish corners and angles, and create decorative designs in the finish coat as required.
  • Mould and install ornamental plaster panels, cornices and trim to add a touch of elegance to our projects.
  • Spray acoustic or texture materials over walls and ceilings to create a unique and functional finish.
  • Trowel or spray coats of stucco over exteriors of buildings to form weatherproof surfaces.
Requirements
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in the trade.
  • Permanent employment with a regular 30 to 44 hour workweek.
  • Fluency in English as the primary language of communication.
