Operations Analyst

The Investment Controls & Governance team at Manulife Insurance Malaysia is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Operations Analyst to join our dynamic team. As an Operations Analyst, you will play a key role in implementing and supporting Power Platform solutions, working closely with business users to understand their needs and expectations.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and Maintain Power Platform Solutions
Create and support Power BI, Power Automate, and Power App workflows to optimize operational workflows and improve efficiency.
Establish Governance and ControlsMaintain and establish governance around solutions, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Stay Up-to-Date with Industry KnowledgeMaintain industry-specific technology knowledge and assess opportunities with Investment Ops to drive business growth and improvement.
Review and Refine Controls and ProceduresReview and refine existing controls and procedures to continuously improve quality and ensure clear and concise documentation.
Collaborate with Global Reconciliation TeamSupport and work in combination with the Global Reconciliation team and other Ops groups to minimize manual processes and inefficiencies, reduce operational risk.
Participate in Initiatives and Working GroupsParticipate and/or lead initiatives as assigned, and maintain partnerships with collaborators via periodic working groups to address outlier issues and encourage process improvement.

Requirements- Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting
A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is required.
Analytical and Quantitative Reasoning SkillsStrong analytical and quantitative reasoning skills are essential for this role.
Comfortable with New TechnologiesComfortable in learning new technologies and working in a changing environment.
Effective Communication SkillsAbility to work effectively and respectfully with a diverse team, and communicate in both English and/or French (verbal and written).
Preferred Qualifications- Experience in Asset Management or Financial Industry
Experience in the asset management or financial industry is preferred.
Experience with Microsoft Power AppsExperience with Microsoft Power Apps is also preferred.
