Key Responsibilities:

- Connect with clients to enhance the Bank of Montreal's business presence by generating appointments and establishing new community relationships.
- Identify potential opportunities during client interactions to generate referrals for personal and commercial banking products.
- Support the achievement of sales targets and performance metrics.
- Develop and execute a relationship management strategy to effectively address client needs.
- Respond to client investment inquiries to fulfill their product requirements in alignment with their financial goals, referring them to partners when necessary.
- Craft solutions and provide recommendations based on a thorough understanding of business strategies and stakeholder requirements.
- Analyze data and information to break down strategic challenges and offer insights and recommendations.
- Deliver timely, accurate, and efficient service in all client interactions.
- Introduce clients to various investment strategies, assisting them in setting financial goals and making tangible progress.
- Engage clients to uncover their personal investment and banking needs, integrating marketing promotions into discussions to provide strategic advice.
- Continuously seek ways to enhance overall business results and improve the customer experience.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of personal investment products, practices, and trends to enrich client conversations.
- May operate across multiple branches and channels based on market demands to provide an optimal customer experience.
- Build strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory, legal, and ethical standards while protecting the Bank's assets.
- Possess the ability to think creatively and propose innovative solutions.
- Exercise sound judgment to identify and resolve issues within established guidelines.
- Work independently while being open to broader responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications:
- Typically requires 3-5 years of relevant experience along with a post-secondary degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- CFP designation is preferred, or alternatively, completion of the Canadian Securities Course with licensing to sell mutual funds (excluding QC or IQPF in Quebec).
- Possess advanced knowledge of the financial industry.
- Demonstrate specialized knowledge acquired through education and/or professional experience.
- Exhibit strong collaboration and teamwork skills.
- Possess in-depth analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Demonstrate strong influencing skills.
Compensation: The expected salary for this position is $53,999.00, with a combination of salary and commission.
Benefits: The total compensation package may include performance-based incentives, discretionary bonuses, health insurance, tuition reimbursement, accident and life insurance, and retirement savings plans.
