Simply OMG Casual Cuisine is seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food service department.
Key Responsibilities:- Leadership and Supervision: Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
- Planning and Organization: Establish methods to meet work schedules, estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and prepare budget and cost estimates.
- Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Reporting and Communication: Prepare and submit reports, and communicate with staff and management to ensure seamless operations.
- College/CEGEP education or equivalent experience.
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a food service environment.
- Availability for shift or on-call work.
- Legally able to work in Canada.
- English language proficiency.
- 40 to 45 hours per week.
Fast-paced environment with a focus on providing excellent customer service and maintaining high-quality food standards.
