Job Summary:

The Gymnastics Floor Supervisor is responsible for planning, organizing, and implementing high-quality gymnastics programs for participants of all levels. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with staff and volunteers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver gymnastics programs that meet the needs of participants
  • Supervise and coach staff and volunteers to ensure high-quality program delivery
  • Assist with recruitment and training of staff
  • Monitor program safety and ensure compliance with legislative requirements
  • Provide exceptional customer service and handle feedback professionally
  • Complete administrative tasks, including staff and program schedules, reports, and incident/accident reports
  • Perform daily inspections of the gymnastics area and monitor equipment and supply usage
  • Report concerns, accidents, and incidents to the immediate supervisor
  • Make weekly camp calls and follow-up calls as needed
  • Understand and adhere to Corporate Policies & Procedures, Confidentiality Guidelines, Emergency Procedures, and Health and Safety Standards

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of gymnastics experience
  • Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience
  • NCCP Full Foundations or Level 1 certification with Risk Management and Risk in Sport (considered an asset)
  • Current Standard First Aid/CPR C from an accredited organization (or ability to obtain within 1 month of hire)
  • High Five Principles of Healthy Child Development or Sport Certification (or ability to obtain within 2 months of hire)
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • NCCP Level 1 Trampoline certification (considered an asset)
  • NCCP Gymnastics Level 2 certification (considered an asset)
