Job Title: ScotiaMcLeod Branch Manager

At ScotiaMcLeod, we're seeking a seasoned leader to drive business growth and deliver exceptional client experiences. As a ScotiaMcLeod Branch Manager, you'll be responsible for leading a high-performing team of wealth advisors and specialists to achieve defined business priorities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute branch business plans and growth strategies to drive revenue and profitability.
  • Lead, coach, and motivate advisors to exceed sales growth and profitability goals.
  • Oversee compliance management for the branch, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Ensure operational effectiveness, including managing the branch profit plan and supporting client experience initiatives.
  • Motivate and develop individual and team performance, fostering a culture of open communication and collaboration.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience in the wealth management advisory industry, with a proven track record of business development and leadership.
  • Exceptional wealth advisory business development and leadership skills, with a strong network of relationships with senior stakeholders and advisors.
  • Superior leadership and management skills, with the ability to work closely with other senior bankers across all divisions.
  • Expert knowledge of sales management techniques and a proven ability to develop and implement strategic plans.
  • Post-graduate business degree (e.g., MBA) and a CFA (or equivalent experience) considered an asset.
