Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Automotive Equipment Technician to join our team in Newfoundland. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for traveling to customer locations throughout the region to provide installation, maintenance, diagnosis, and repair of car wash, chemical dispensers, and related equipment. This includes coin-operated wash bays, rollovers, and full-sized tunnel car wash systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Travel to customer locations to provide installation, maintenance, and repair services
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot car wash equipment, including electrical systems
  • Perform mechanical repairs on high-pressure pumps, hydraulics, and compressors
  • Work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team when required
  • Provide excellent customer service and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Meet the minimum qualifications outlined below

Requirements

  • Mechanical aptitude with excellent problem-solving skills
  • Strong knowledge of car wash equipment and electrical systems
  • Previous experience in mechanical or electrical repair, including certified tradespeople
  • High energy, self-motivated, and positive attitude
  • Valid driver's license and clean driver's abstract
  • Ability to work on-call (rotation) and overtime
