Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Cross Iron Chicken Foods Inc.

Job Summary:

The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for supervising kitchen staff and helpers, managing kitchen operations, and ensuring that all food service areas are clean and well-maintained.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff and helpers to ensure efficient and effective food preparation and service.
  • Manage kitchen operations, including inventory management, food preparation, and presentation.
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and adherence to health and safety standards.
  • Clean and maintain kitchen and work areas, including equipment and utensils.
  • Maintain accurate records of food, supplies, and equipment inventory.
  • Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to meet customer demands.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, standing for extended periods, and performing physically demanding tasks.
  • Ensure attention to detail and quality of food preparation and presentation.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to maintain high standards of food quality and presentation.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service or culinary role.
  • Permanent employment with 35 hours per week.
  • Fluency in English.
