Senior Credit Audit Manager, Commercial Banking

We are seeking a highly experienced Credit Audit professional to join our team at the Bank of Montreal. As a Senior Credit Audit Manager, you will be responsible for conducting audit engagements to critically assess management and internal control processes in the Commercial Banking space.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough audits to identify areas of improvement and provide recommendations for enhanced risk management and control processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective implementation of audit findings and recommendations.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including business leaders and audit committees.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory requirements, and best practices in credit audit and risk management.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in credit audit, with a focus on Commercial Banking.
- Proven track record of conducting complex audits and providing actionable recommendations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.
