Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a Lodge Manager to oversee our Camp Services operations. The Lodge Manager will be responsible for the comprehensive management of all business and operational functions within the camp setting. This role requires a strategic approach to achieve operational, administrative, and financial goals through effective project management, resource allocation, and leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a diverse support team to meet the needs of our clients.
- Ensure seamless service delivery across various functional areas, including food services, accommodations, security, and facilities management.
- Act as the primary liaison with client site-management to provide timely and effective operational support.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of all tasks, personnel, and resources within the lodge.
- Oversee the preparation and submission of all required reports.
- Facilitate effective training, orientation, and scheduling for staff.
- Monitor service delivery to ensure quality and consistency.
- Conduct regular quality audits to assess service standards.
- Contribute to the development of policies and procedures to enhance service delivery.
- Assist in formulating pricing and promotional strategies.
- Manage financial budgets and monitor revenue and expenditures.
- Address and resolve client complaints effectively.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Support the implementation of quality assurance functions across all departments.
Qualifications:
- A degree or diploma in hotel management or a related field.
- 5-10 years of management experience in the accommodation sector.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to lead and supervise kitchen staff.
- Strong organizational and leadership capabilities.
- Proficient in prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
